In the diverse cultural and religious landscape of Malaysia, my work embodies a deep appreciation for the value and importance of different faiths. I seek to foster understanding, meaningful conversation and improved dialogue among individuals from various religious backgrounds.
Recognizing the intrinsic worth and sincerity of each person's spiritual journey, I advocate for mutual respect and acceptance within the larger community. By embracing the unique contributions of every religious tradition, I believe in creating a harmonious and inclusive society that transcends boundaries and nurtures a sense of unity.
This work becomes a medium through which I invite viewers to engage in thoughtful contemplation, empathy and an exploration of shared values and aspirations. By highlighting the common threads that weave through different religious beliefs, I strive to create connections and foster a sense of collective humanity. By promoting understanding, meaningful conversation and dialogue I believe that individuals of all religions can coexist, learn from one another and contribute positively to our shared global community.
My inspiration comes from the rich tapestry of cultures and religions that make up Malaysia's social fabric. Growing up in a place where so many different beliefs coexist I became deeply aware of the beauty and value in each tradition. This diversity sparked a desire within me to explore how we can bridge the gaps between our differences and celebrate our shared humanity.
I’ve always been moved by the way spirituality shapes people’s lives and how it offers them guidance, comfort and a sense of purpose. Seeing how important these beliefs are to individuals, I felt a strong need to create work that honors this significance and promotes a deeper understanding among different faiths. I believe that by fostering dialogue and compassion, we can break down the barriers that divide us and build a more harmonious world.
I’ve been inspired by the many stories of unity and collaboration across religious lines. These stories remind me that, despite our differences, there’s so much we share in terms of values, aspirations, and hopes for the future. This realization drives me to create art that highlights these commonalities and encourages people to come together in mutual respect and understanding. My work is a reflection of my belief that by embracing our diversity and learning from one another, we can create a more inclusive and peaceful society.
