This work reflects the struggle and fragility I encounter while working within the confines of the darkroom studio. Through this challenging and intricate process, I develop a profound understanding of the intimate relationship that exists between myself and the photograph. It is within this realm of uncertainty and vulnerability that my creative journey unfolds.
As I navigate the unorganized chaos that arises during the processing and fixing of my pieces, I become a witness to a captivating dance between control and chance. In this realm, the image takes on a life of its own—revealing itself in unexpected and mesmerizing ways. I relinquish a certain degree of control, allowing the medium to shape the final outcome. The resulting images are imbued with a sense of spontaneity, evoking emotions and narratives that surpass mere representation.
The solitary experience of being alone in the darkroom holds an irresistible fascination for me. It is within this private sanctuary that I conduct my experiments, delving deeper into the possibilities offered by the medium. The solitude becomes a catalyst for self-reflection and discovery as I become intimately connected with both the process and the outcome.
